  • The main purpose of sports massage therapy is to help alleviate the stress & tension which builds up in the body's
    soft tissues during physical activity. This massage utilizes the techniques of several different modalities of
    massage, in treating specific sports-related aches & syndromes. Expect a deeper touch and more stretching, both
    actively & passively. Not a full body massage, but targeted at troublesome areas, great for atheles & joggers.

  • A therapeutic technique of body work that releases chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes
    and deep finger pressure on areas where muscles are contracted and on certain soft tissues of the body, in
    particular the muscles, ligaments and tendons. The massage serves to bring more blood to the area (and with it
    warmth), and in some instances one can feel the breaking up of small firm deposits or the debris of metabolic
    processes within the muscle. Massage is often used to prevent injury and to lessen injuries before and after sports

    warming massage. The warmth of the stones allows this light touch to penetrate the muscles more deeply, so that
